Last week of Manholes!
Have you passed Slate recently? Since 8 September there have been 13 large photos, half a metre square. They are close up views of manhole covers – the world that goes unnoticed under your feet.
The pictures are by Flash Bristow – Slate Co-ordinator – and will be coming down on 20 October so see them soon! Her past work features topics such as the North Circular Road, and Pylons, and can be seen here, on her photography site.
Flash hopes to be outside Slate at around 3pm on Sunday 14th so if you’d like to meet the artist and ask any questions, why not pop along then?
Here are a couple of the pieces on show:
Manholes might not strike you as an obvious subject, but do have a look as you pass by, and be inspired!
